Prior art and references for the matheology project.

.. note:: A look back, written 2026m06d07 --- after the MMv5 release

   These pages are where the whole thing started. Before the survey below,
   |LLoL| was convinced there was **no point** developing any explicit
   mathematical theology without a ResearchCity to support it. So in early 2026
   he ran exactly one check first: he asked Claude to search whether a discipline
   of *mathematical theology* already existed. The answer --- building blocks
   scattered across many fields, but no unifying discipline --- opened the rabbit
   hole that became the :doc:`Matheo Study Series </study/matheo/index>` (now
   released at MMv5). Apparently Reality thought differently about whether the
   work was worth beginning before a ResearchCity existed.

   The original survey and its session log are preserved below, **unedited**, as
   the record of that beginning.
