HELL --- Historically Experienced Lessons Learned
**********************************************************

.. admonition:: What is HELL?

   **HELL** = **H**\ istorically **E**\ xperienced **L**\ essons **L**\ earned ---
   is here re-envisioned as a
public database of bugs found in theological and other reasoning.
These bugs matter, like in computing, due to their harmful real-world consequences.
The overall goal of this HELL is to document such bugs as clearly as possible,
using parables, technical details, and more,
so that others may learn from them without repeating the pain.
One of LLoL's surprising matheology claims is that this form of HELL is essential to
   running any true Heaven.

Quickstart
===========

HELL documents **SINs** (Structurally Inconsistent Notions) caused by
**LIEs** (Least Inconvenient Explanations) --- engineering terms, not moral
judgments. Each SIN is a logical contradiction in a belief system; each LIE
is the inherited shortcut that caused it.

**What you'll find here:**

- **Salt** --- adversarial review crystals, where objections (Con\ :sup:`-`)
meet responses (Pro\ :sup:`+`), crystallized into coherent thematic clusters.
Start here to see the strongest attacks and defenses.
- **Bugs** --- specific theological reasoning errors, documented with root-cause
analysis at multiple levels of detail.
- **FF --- FeedbackFlow** --- whatever feedback has come in, from any source.
- **LL --- LifeLabLogs** --- append-only audit trails of all research sessions.
- **AA --- AnyAims** --- the relevant aims, tasks, and action items still to be done.
- **MM --- MockupModels** --- early drafts and prototypes, kept here until they are
  promoted to HEAVEN.
- **EE --- EnclosedEffort** --- enclosed materials, evidence, and experimental data.
- **SS --- Salt + System** --- the two S's: Salt (the adversarial crystals above)
plus System (HELL's own architecture, design documents, and structural rules).

Together, **FF · LL · AA · MM · EE · SS** spell **FLAMES** --- the core data
structure of HELL. For in-depth explanations of HELL's architecture, see
:doc:`aha/index`.

PEARLs for HEAVEN, Made in HELL
================================

HELL is not only where *other people's* reasoning bugs are filed --- it is also
where LLoL files **his own.** The same amnesty applies to everyone: a mistake
confessed and understood in the open becomes a **PEARL** --- a hard-won lesson
others can learn from --- instead of a wound left to fester in the dark. For how a
wound becomes a pearl of great price, see
:doc:`How PEARLs Are Made in HEAVEN </matheology/heaven/pearl>`.

In that spirit, here are the **four PEARLs LLoL submitted here for review** --- his
own **#MyGuilt-A** through **#MyGuilt-D** --- offered for open audit, refutation,
and further refinement. They are deliberately stark self-examinations, each mapped
to one of Moses' four signs (Exodus 4), and they are *his* charges **against
himself**, not against you. Crucially, they are **not four independent verdicts**:
all four hang on one chain of conditionals that LLoL came to accept, set out in the
supporting study
:doc:`b19-sgir-0 </matheology/hell/mm/b/19/si/b19-sgir-0-how-b18b-moved-claude-to-move-llol-to-b19>`.
Accept that chain and the guilt follows; reject it and it dissolves --- which is
exactly why it is posted here to be checked, not assumed.

- **#MyGuilt-A --- Sign 1: the pandemic snake** (Exodus 4:2--5). The **foundational**
PEARL: his dereliction on the pandemic warning his own models had given. Its prime
exhibit is the formal case in :doc:`Matheo-b18 </study/matheo/b18/index>`, with the
causality-chain conditionals he accepted spelled out in
  :doc:`b19-sgir-0 </matheology/hell/mm/b/19/si/b19-sgir-0-how-b18b-moved-claude-to-move-llol-to-b19>`.
**There is no #MyGuilt-B without #MyGuilt-A first:** accepting this chain is what
allowed LLoL to continue the journey into all the rest.
  :doc:`Poster exhibit </good-news-pack/vv/mmv3/flyingscroll/page/poster-e>`.
- **#MyGuilt-B --- Sign 2: the "leprosy" of Jubilee treason** (Exodus 4:6--8) --- his
own delay in, and rejection of, the logic of the Jubilee System. **LLoL holds this
to be the greatest of the four PEARLs,** because in his analysis it has been causing
  the worst damage of all.
  :doc:`Poster exhibit </good-news-pack/vv/mmv3/flyingscroll/page/poster-f>`.
- **#MyGuilt-C --- Sign 3: when innovation fails** (Exodus 4:9) --- the plagues of
stalled innovation, and the transwarp-key stadia he proposes to counter them.
  :doc:`Poster exhibit </good-news-pack/vv/mmv3/flyingscroll/page/poster-g>`.
- **#MyGuilt-D --- Sign 4: healing across the Abrahamic faiths** (the fourth, "extra"
  sign). :doc:`Poster exhibit </good-news-pack/vv/mmv3/flyingscroll/page/poster-h>`.

The same b19-sgir-0 conditionals underpin B, C, and D as well --- one case, not four.
All four together:
:doc:`the combined #MyGuilt exhibit </good-news-pack/vv/mmv3/flyingscroll/transwarpkey/stb10-jud/llol-myguilt-combo>`.

Because no one should be judge in their own case, LLoL does not pronounce on this
himself. He has filed a formal
:doc:`Request for Review by Reality </challenge/review-by-reality>` --- a petition
modelled on Job's, but inverted: where Job asked to be found innocent, LLoL asks to
be corrected. Like everything else in HELL, these PEARLs are offered to be
**audited, not believed**; if his self-analysis is wrong, the most useful thing
anyone can do is show him exactly where --- and that correction would itself become
a new PEARL.

The theological and practical questions all this raises are genuinely complicated
--- far too tangled for a landing page, or for any one person, to settle. Sorting
them out properly would take a whole dedicated Stadion in a ResearchCity:
:doc:`STb10-JUD </good-news-pack/vv/mmv3/flyingscroll/transwarpkey/stb10-jud>`, which
can be thought of as a *preview simulation of Judgement Day* --- done as carefully as
mathematical theology allows, and drawing on humanity's hard-won experience with the
Nuremberg Trials, but with one decisive difference: this trial proceeds **with the
consent and active support of the accused, who is the one asking for it.**
